EuroKom Preparation

The Eurokom communication exam is best prepared for with as much practice communicating as possible.

  • The three parts are: presentation of a self-selected topic, listening (authentic excerpts from everyday situations such as announcements, interviews and/or telephone conversation) and communicative-situational tasks (describing pictures, role plays, dialogues etc.). A big focus is placed on developing free speech & the skills required for the oral exam, as it makes up 50% of the entire exam.

  • We offer group classes during the school holidays throughout the year, providing a motivating environment to help students improve. Small groups of  5-10 students means more feedback and more confidence in the run-up to the exam.

  • Students learn to spontaneously and confidently react to language, relay information and present results, as well as to discuss facts and points of view. Classes are small and are conducted by experienced teachers.

  • One-to-one practice and mini-groups of 2-3 students are also available with experienced  teachers who can help students focus to improve their areas of weakness and further strengthen their strong points.

  • For overall improvement longer-term, our running evening and Saturday courses give students consistent support year-round.
