Gute Englischkenntnisse sind heute in vielen Berufen eine wichtige Voraussetzung. Ob im Büro, im Kundenservice, in der IT oder im internationalen Handel – Englisch gilt als Schlüsselqualifikation auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Arbeitssuchende oder von Arbeitslosigkeit bedrohte Personen können ihre Sprachkenntnisse mithilfe eines AVGS (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein) oder Bildungsgutscheins fördern lassen. Der AVGS wird von der Agentur für Arbeit oder dem Jobcenter ausgestellt.

Was ist ein AVGS?

Der Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS) ist eine Förderung nach § 45 SGB III. Er ermöglicht die Teilnahme an zertifizierten Maßnahmen, die die berufliche Eingliederung unterstützen. Dazu gehören unter anderem: Sprachkurse, zum Beispiel Englisch für den Beruf, Bewerbungstraining, Coaching und Vermittlungsunterstützung. Mit einem AVGS können die Kosten für einen Englischkurs vollständig übernommen werden, sofern die Maßnahme zugelassen ist und individuell begründet werden kann.

Was ist ein Bildungsgutschein?

Ein Bildungsgutschein ist eine finanzielle Förderzusage für eine berufliche Weiterbildung oder Umschulung. Er wird in Deutschland von der Bundesagentur für Arbeit oder vom Jobcenter ausgestellt.

Step one: Apply for an AVGS voucher or an Education Voucher.

You have received an AVGS voucher (Activation and Placement Voucher) or an education voucher from the Employment Agency or the Jobcenter. Eligibility requires that you are unemployed, at risk of becoming unemployed, or in need of further training to support integration into the labour market or to secure your current job.

Step 2: Contact us!

We will send you a course offer by email, which you can submit to the Employment Agency. Once the offer has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a voucher for the course.

Step 3: Submit the course offer to the Employment Agency and receive your voucher.

Step 4: Contact us to arrange your placement and registration appointment.

Once you have received your voucher, please arrange an appointment with us. Please bring the voucher with you to this appointment. We will then carry out a placement assessment and subsequently enrol you in the appropriate English course.
