Young Learners

Young Learners Exams (YLE) are developed by Cambridge especially for school children aged 7-12. These activity-based exams are motivating and fun, helping kids develop a positive relationship to learning in general and English in particular.

  • English exams for children aged 7–12
  • Child-appropriate content and format
  • Three levels for appropriate language that encourages kids: Starters (Pre A1), Movers (A1), Flyers (A2)
  • Every candidate gets a certificate
  • Exams have three components: Listening, Reading and Writing, Speaking
  • All exams and components take place on the same day

Fees

YLE-Starters €75
YLE-Movers €80
YLE-Flyers €85

The written and speaking exams usually take place on the same day. If the number of registrations is very high, the speaking examination will be held on one of the days within the specified time frame.

Late entries can be accepted under certain circumstances, in which case an additional fee of €60 will be charged.
