Needs assessment and grading of staff members
We plan courses tailored to the needs of your company and design a teaching concept specifically suited to meet your employees` requirements and language levels.
Your staff members will take special placement tests to determine their current English level. This allows us to develop an individual teaching concept and select teaching material for each particular group.
The course schedule and teaching material will be chosen after the placement tests have been evaluated.
Concept / Methodology
Language competence and intercultural awareness can best be learned through direct contact with a native teacher who knows how to convey these skills.
Since the course members are learning English in a German-speaking environment, it is of utmost importance to constantly train lingual skills and oral fluency.
Pair work, work in groups and role-play based on real business situations form the foundation of the lessons, in order to prepare your staff for their respective fields of expertise.
The lessons are constantly updated according to the latest research in linguistics. We select our teaching material accordingls.

In order to ensure regular attendance, we keep attendance lists which we can provide you with regularly.
Our service also includes
• Biannual reports which reflect the progress of each student and/or the group as a whole (optional).
• If requested, we can prepare course members for the English language examinations offered by the University of Cambridge, e.g. Business English Certificates at different levels. These exams enable you to independently measure the progress of your employees.
BEC
Business English Certificates (BEC) of the University of Cambridge, ESOL Examinations.
These certificates are internationally recognized qualifications certifying that the recipient is competent in using English in his or her work environment.
The BEC examinations are an excellent goal for in-company courses. A growing number of companies make use of this opportunity by registering their employees for the Cambridge examinations.
After a placement test we can assign each employee to the appropriate examination level. We can design a course concept including the time schedule with regard to the examination preparation.
