German courses 50+ at the Anglo-German Institute in Stuttgart
Tuition
Have you been thinking for a while about refreshing your German language skills and would you like to explore a new city with other interested students? Then this is the right course for you. Learning takes place in small groups with other 50+ students, from 10.00 until 11.30 Mondays through Fridays two weeks long. Thus you can systematically improve your oral and written skills. The language trainers will discuss current events and will be able to address individual interests, because of the small class size. To help improve your learning our computer room is available, with study programs designed to accompany the text books. You will be invited to join us for two group outings weekly. And one evening per week is reserved to enjoy the atmosphere of one of the typical regional festivals. At the weekend day-long excursions are planned.

14:00 to 17:00 Trip to the Mercedes-Benz-Museum, State Gallery or the Baroque Castle Ludwigsburg
Thursday
10:00 to 11:30 German lessons
In the afternoon you are free to go on individual outings.
Friday
10:00 to 11:30 German lessons
Afternoon or evening visit to the Summer Festival, Wine Village or the Christmas Market
Saturday
10:00 to 18:00 Outing to Tübingen, Heidelberg or Baden-Baden in the Black Forest
Sunday
Sundays you are free to do what you like. We will be happy to make suggestions for excursions.
Accommodation
Our families are experienced hosts for international guests. You will have a nice single room. The bathroom is usually shared. We recommend booking half board. Monday through Friday this includes breakfast and a warm meal in the evening. Saturdays and Sundays this includes all three meals.
We can also book hotel rooms if you wish.
Enrolment and Course Start
You can book the course or you can book a complete package of course and home stay. Enrolment is possible using our website or in person at the school. A placement test is scheduled at 9:00 on your first class day. The correct course will be found for you, if you have had previous German language training. If you are a beginner, we offer a course at the A 1 elementary level.
