German compact courses at the Anglo-German Institute in Stuttgart
Tuition
Here you use the day for an optimal learning programme. You can book lesson packages which contain lessons in a group and individual lessons. Each package offers you 16 units ā 45 minutes in a group. In the course, you work on your oral and written expression. Reading and listening comprehension skills are practised as well.
Additionally, you can choose either 8, 16 or 24 individual lessons. The lesson content will be arranged according to your own interests. An emphasis on your working or private situation is possible as well as studying for a particular exam. Tests at regular intervals show you your progress. On your last course day you will receive an AGI certificate, which includes the course duration and the level of language expertise reached.
Activity Program
In the afternoon you have the opportunity to watch German films. New class participants are invited to join a walking tour of Stuttgart during their first week here. Our German "Stammtisch" gives you the opportunity to get to know Stuttgartīs many pubs and the other course members and to practise your German conversation. Of course we stick to speaking German during all the different activities!
Registration and Course Start
You can register online at our website or come in and register personally. If you have studied German already you can start any given Monday. Prerequisite is a placement test so that we can access your course level and find the correct group course for you. A guest visit in one of our ongoing courses can be arranged. If you are an absolute beginner we offer elementary German courses at regular intervals.
